Development of 'Web-centric' Applications

Acknowledging the principles of Web Enabled Applications, even at a basic level (ECMAScript: query strings), Information Technology and cost-effective computer applications, the approach of client / server architecture, peer-to-peer communication. Speculative, the introduction of a 'two-tier architecture', in which 'client – side software requests information from the user – formatting the request into a query which in turn is sent over the network to the database server for processing.

HTML4.0, ECMAScript, XML*(various parsers), Perl (variants) and Oracle10g (Sql);

if I am able to find a successful parser, and an original installPak of perl which works without daft variants..

Threading: Effective Development for small devices

  • Developing classes to perform explicit locks, condition variables.
  • Thread pooling, task scheduling etc.
  • Functionality, now built into the core J2SE 5.0
  • Development for mobile and reduced processor speed
  • Software Development taking advantage of multi-tasking and effective development on a single – processor
  • Policies on open source development

Dated / Legacy Themes: Small Computing Devices

Small Computing Devices, maximum of 2mb Rom & minimum of 1mb Ram – Large PDA's & Mobile Communications, aswell as
  • embedded java
  • javacard
Used for small computing devices dedicated to one purpose, which also has 512kb of Rom and Ram, based on 'JDK1.1' (to be replaced by 'CDLC' configuration).
JavaCard, (VM) runs on small computing devices with '16kb' of nonvolatile memory & 512 bytes of volatile memory.
JavaCard (VM) and inability to support embedded java – itself being replaced by 'CDLC Configuration'. Highlighting resource constraints of current technologies. (Products: JavaCard)
